h) Switching on the speed controller
Switch on the remote control. Leave the throttle/brake lever on the remote control in the neutral position (do not touch/
move the lever). Turn on the speed controller. Wait a few seconds until the motor beeps.
The beep is generated by the motor. Refer to section 10 for more information on the beep signals.
Check that the throttle and steering functions are working correctly.
i) Attaching and securing the chassis
Place the chassis onto the fixtures and fix it in place it with the clips.
j) Controlling the vehicle
Place the vehicle on the ground. Do not reach into the motor or hold the wheels.
Move the throttle/brake lever on the remote control very carefully and drive slowly until you are familiar with
how the vehicle responds to the remote control. Do not make sudden adjustments to the remote control
levers.
If the vehicle shows a tendency to move to one side, adjust the steering trim on the remote control accordingly.
The following images are for reference purposes only and do not necessarily correspond to the design of
the remote control included with the product!
1. Release the throttle/brake lever (move it to the neutral position). The vehicle should roll to a halt or stay stationary
(if necessary, adjust the throttle trim on the remote control).
2. Slowly pull the throttle/brake lever towards the handle to make the vehicle move forwards.
3. Slowly push the throttle/brake lever away from the handle to make the vehicle move backwards.
Do not switch immediately between forwards/reverse. Bring the vehicle to a standstill first before moving it
in the other direction. Directly switching to another direction may overload the drive components.
