Make sure that water or other
liquids do not get into the casing
of the multi-function tool.
Cleaning the multi-function tool
After every use
1. Unlock the exhaust channel (17)
and remove it from the multi-
function tool.
2. Clean the exhaust channel and
the casing with a soft brush, or
with compressed air.
3. If the casing is heavily soiled,
wipe it with a damp cloth, and
then wipe it completely dry.
4. Place the exhaust channel back
in the multi-function tool.
Every eight hours
1. Unlock the exhaust channel and
remove it.
2. Oil the moving parts of the tool
holder (10) with standard
universal oil.
3. Place the exhaust channel back
in the multi-function tool.
Checking the multi-function tool
Check the condition of the tool
regularly. You should check to see
whether, for instance:
– The on / off switch (3) is not
damaged,
– The tool is in immaculate
condition,
– The connection points for the
charger (21), battery (4) and
multi-function tool are clean,
– The charger and the battery are
not damaged.
– If you notice any damage, you
must get a specialist workshop
to repair it in order to avoid any
hazards.
11 – Storage and
transportation
NOTICE! Risk of damage! If
you store or transport the
multi-function tool incorrectly, it
may become damaged. Store and
transport the tool in a clean, dry,
frost-free area, to which children
do not have access. Always use
the storage bag supplied to store
and transport the multi-function
tool and accessories. Other
storage areas and transportation
methods are not enough to
protect the tool.
1. Clean the multi-function tool
thoroughly before storing (see
chapter 'Cleaning and
maintenance').
2. Make sure that the multi-function
tool and accessories are
completely dry.
