– To remove the battery, press
both the battery unlocking
devices at the same time and
pull the battery out (see fig. E).
Preparing the multi-function tool
WARNING! Risk of injury!
Accidentally warming up the
multi-function tool may lead to
severe injury. Always remove the
battery from the tool before
adjustment or assembly work.
Assembling the handle
Screw the handle (19) into the
thread (9). Make sure to screw in
the handle on the left for right-
handed users, and on the right for
left-handed users.
Connecting the dust extraction
equipment
WARNING! Health hazard!
Missing or incorrect dust
extraction equipment can cause
damage to health. Read and
observe the safety chapter 'Safety
notes for dust extraction' at the
beginning of this operating manual.
1. Attach the extraction channel (17)
to the bottom of the multi-function
tool (see fig. B), using the
retaining clip (18). Make sure
that the extraction channel is
positioned correctly on the tool,
and that the retaining clip engages
with the opening (5).
2. Place the extraction adaptor (20)

on the connection supports of
the extraction channel, and turn
the adaptor anticlockwise to fix
it.
3. Connect suitable extraction
equipment to the extraction
adaptor (e.g. a workshop
vacuum).
Assembling the tool
WARNING! Risk of injury! If
you assemble the tool
incorrectly, meaning that it can
come into contact with your hand
during use, you are at risk of
injury. Do not assemble the tool in
a way that makes it possible to
come into contact with your hand.
For example, do not let the blades
point in the direction of your
hand.
CAUTION! Risk of injury!
Fingers can be trapped in the
clamping mechanism while
assembling the tool. Take care to
ensure that your fingers do not
get caught while assembling the
tool.
The tool must only be assembled
after the dust extraction system has
been connected.
The tool holder (10) of the multi-
function tool makes it possible to
set the tool in different positions,
using the clamping mechanism.
Saw blades and scraper
1. Open the clamping lever (1)
completely. (see fig. C).
