All other uses are expressly
excluded, and are not considered to
be intended use.
The manufacturer or trader bears no
liability for injuries, loss or damages
resulting from unintended or
incorrect use. Possible examples of
unintended or incorrect use are:
• Using the multi-function tool for
purposes other than those for
which it is intended;
• Using the multi-function tool as a
polishing machine;
• Non-compliance with the safety
notes and warnings, and the
assembly, operation,
maintenance and cleaning
instructions contained in this
operating manual;
• Non-compliance with any
specific and/or general accident
prevention, workplace health or
safety regulations for the use of
the multi-function tool;
• Using accessories and
replacement parts not intended
for the multi-function tool;
• Alterations to the multi-function
tool;

• Repairs to the multi-function tool
by anyone other than the
manufacturer or a specialist;
• Commercial, manual or industrial
use of the multi-function tool;
• Operation or maintenance of the
multi-function tool by persons
who cannot be trusted with
handling the tool, and/or are not
aware of the associated risks.
Residual risks
Even if the multi-function tool is
used for its intended purposes,
unforeseen risks cannot be
completely ruled out.
The following hazards may occur,
depending on the type of multi-
function tool:
• Parts sliding away/out, or
breakage of the sanding area,
insertion tool or materials in use,
with serious risk of injury or
blinding if prescribed safety
glasses are not worn;
• Contact with sharp or hot parts
of the work piece or insertion
tool during operation and
maintenance work;
• Hearing damage if prescribed
hearing protection is not worn;
• Inhaling sand particles from the
material and sanding surfaces.
