d) Linkage of the Tail Assembly
First switch on the transmitter and then the model (see chapter 10. g, "Inserting
the Flight Battery")
The rudder trim lever (see fig. 2, item 9) must be in the centre position. Ensure
that the servo lever is in its neutral position. The servo lever must be at a 90°
angle to the longitudinal axis of the servo (version A)
If the servo lever is twisted on the servo (Versions B or C), remove the small
screws in the middle of the servo lever, lift the servo lever off of the servo and
replace it in a 90° angle. Then reattach the servo lever with the servo screw.
Proceed accordingly for the elevator.
Turn the clevis (1) to set the linkage rod length so that the rudder (2) is in its
neutral position.
When the rod is shortened properly, hook and attach the clevis to the outermost
hole of the rudder horn (3).
Turn the clevis (1) to set the linkage rod length so that the elevator (2) is in its
neutral position.
When the rod is shortened properly, hook and attach the clevis to the outermost
hole of the rudder horn (3).
