3.0 Preparing the machine

3.1 Installing additional weights fig. A
► Additional weights can be mounted on the front and
rear of the BITURBO-STRIPPER. The front ones weigh
24 kg and the rear ones 13 kg.
► Tighten the front weights (5+6) with the tensioning
screws (11) and the rear weights (3) with the tensioning
screws (20).
3.2 Installation Handel fig. A
► Insert the handle into the holder and tighten with the
clamping screw (23).
► Connect the plug between the motors and the stem.
► Release the clutch (29) and hook the Bowden cable
(x) into the clutch handle (2). If necessary, screw in the
adjusting screw.

3.3 Adjusting the handle angle fig. A
The shaft inclination can be adjusted by loosening the
clamping screw (23) by selecting one of the holes in the
inclination forwards or backwards to ensure a good wor-
king position.
3.3.1 Adjusting the grip angle fig. A
If the inclination of the handle is changed, the inclination

of the handle must also be adjusted. To do this, loosen the

clamping screws (14) and move the handle to a comfort-

3.3.2 Moving the handle
The handle can be tilted forwards and backwards. A good
working position can be achieved by loosening the clam-
ping screws (23) and changing the holes.

3.4 Adjusting the handle height fig. A
The handle height can be adjusted to suit body height.To
do this, unscrew the clamping screws (7) on the handle
and adjust the height as desired. Retighten the clamping
screw (7).
3.5 Changing the blade fig. A
► Disconnect the power supply before changing the
blade.
► Use work gloves for your own safety tip the machi-
neput on the blade protection (enclosed in the
tools set)
► Move the handle forwards (steeply) and tilt the machi-
ne backwards. Ensure that the machine is stable.
► For safety reasons, the knife is not pre-assembled.
► Attach the supplied knife guard! (included in the set of
tools)
► Without knife protection there is danger of injury,
because the knife is very sharp!
Knives get very hot when working,
do not touch them before they have
cooled down.
