4.3 Switching on/off fig. B
► With the main switch (17) the striking mechanism is
switched on and off. After switching off the striking
mechanism can only be switched on again after 6
seconds.
► The red handle (9) switches the propulsion on and off.
If the button (13) at the end of the handle is also
pressed, the machine reverses.
► The potentiometer (26) can be used to set the advance
speed from 0 to 27 m/s. The speed can be set from
0 to 27 m/s. The speed can also be set from 0 to 27 m/s.
► By actuating the switch (27) the speed can be set via
the potentiometer (26). When not actuated, the machi-
ne reverses at maximum speed.
► The machine is stopped immediately with the EMER-
GENCY OFF (18).
► Hour counter (25) counts only the operating hours.
when the formwork motor is running.
4.4 Engaging/disengaging
(transport and maneuvering) Fig.A + B
► The coupling (29) can be engaged and disengaged
with the lever (2).
► With the lever (2), the drive is disengaged and the
connection between the engine and the wheels is
interrupted.
► The machine is easier to manoeuvre when uncoupled
and enables pushing from A to B.
4.5 Level regulation
The machine is equipped with a level control which en-
sures that the knife always lies on the ground even if the
drive wheels drive over uneven surfaces. The level control
can be fixed with the locking knob. This is recommended
to prevent the formwork from swinging up when working
with very narrow knives.

4.6 Data logger
The machine is equipped with a data logger which records
the operating hours and the load of the machine. This data
is stored for 3 years. Furthermore the data logger is equip-
ped with a GPS with which the machine can be located.
4.7 Reverse stop
The machine is equipped with a circuit breaker (33) which
stops the machine when reversing as soon as it touches
the operator.
5.0 Transport
To avoid injury, the following must be observed when
transporting the machine. The knife has to be removed
and the swivel joint Figure A (21) locked. If the machine
has to be carried to the place of use, it can be dismantled
into several parts. The additional weights and the handle
can be removed. Drive and striking mechanism can be
separated.
5.1 Remove weights fig. A
► On the BITURBO-STRIPPER additional weights can
be mounted at the front and rear. The front weights
weigh 24 kg and the rear weights 13 kg.
► The front weights (5+6) are fixed with the clamping
