5.4 Adjusting the handle

The height of the handle can be adjusted to adapt the machine
to the stature of the operator. To adjust the inclination, loosen
the thumb screw at the foot of the handle.
After changing the hieght of the handle, it may be necessary to
readjust the handle attachment of the clutch.
5.5 Additional weight
The base weight of the Vario-Stripper SILENT is as low as
possible for easy handling and transport.
To be able to work efficiently, the machine comes with an
additional weight. Insert additional weight into the supports and
tighten with the wing nuts.

6.0 Information about various floorings

Main applications of the Vario-Stripper SILENT are carpets with
foam backing, CV-floorings, PVC-floorings and light carpets.
Wing nut
CV-floorings, PVC-floorings and carpets without foam backing
Cut stripes according to the blade width. Check from time to time
if the blade is straight.
Carpets with foam backing
Use sharp blades only. Remove upper layer with carpet clamp.
Remove the foam backing with the stripper. Remove foam
across the width if you have an uneven sub-floor.
carpets with fleece backing
Do not remove the top layer of wall-to-wall carpeting with fleece
backing. Cut the carpet into strips and strip off with the fleece
backing.
Semi-flexible tiles
These tiles can be removed without pre-cutting, if they are not
bonded extremely tight.
