2.5.3 Additional instructions for BM models:
Caution!
-
Never start the equipment in the rain or in a humid
environment.
-
When the machine is switched off, always remove the
battery before handling.
Note: Model BM46-82V also has a safety key inside the battery
compartment (Fig.1_W). The machine will not start without this
key. Always remove the key if the machine is left unattended, if
it has stopped due to problems, or for any kind of maintenance.
2.5.4 Additional instructions for EM models:
Caution!
-
Make sure the mains voltage and frequency comply with the
data on the rating plate.
-
Plug the equipment into a socket with an FI differential
switch with a ≤ 30mA residual current device.
-
Avoid physical contact with parts afixed to the ground (e.g.
metal fences, poles, etc.)
-
Only use approved H05VV-F or H05RN-F extension cords
with a maximum length of 75 m that are suitable for outdoor
use. They must have a minimum section of 1.5 mm². Before
use, completely unroll the cable and make sure the
insulation is not damaged.
-
Only use the extension cord strain relief provision on the
equipment.
-
Keep the extension cord away from the blade and place it
so that it cannot get entangled. The extension cord must
remain behind the operator of the lawn mower.
-
Never pull the extension cord to unplug it. Keep the cord
away from oil and sharp objects.
-
Always unplug the cord if there are signs of damage to the
lawn mower or to the power cord. If an extension cord is
damaged, it must always be replaced, not patched up.
-
Never start the equipment in the rain or in a humid
environment.
-
Always unplug the power cord when switching the machine
off.
3 UNPACKAGING
Your Grin comes fully assembled in a box. The handlebar is
folded to save space. The mowing height adjustment lever is in
the transport position.
1. Open the box from the top. (Fig.2)
2. Lift the lawn mower out, with the help of a second person,
and place it on a flat stable surface.
3. Remove the staples from the back of the cardboard box;
fold the box flat and store it in a dry place. It can be
reused to transport your Grin or to send it to a workshop.
