6.3 Dismounting bearing 22320 EK/C3 on shaft no.1

Use the hook spanner HN 18–20 to remove the shaft nut KM 20 and locking washer
MB 20. Replace the shaft nut KM 20 on the shaft. Tighten until there is a gap of around
two turns between the bearing and the nut. Connect pump 729124 DU via the connection
nipple 729100 to the shaft end. Tighten the release valve of the pump and start pumping.
The high pressure oil will low into the ducts and distribution grooves and a high pressure
oil ilm breaks the interference it between the bearing and the shaft.
The bearing will be released with considerable force without damaging the tapered seating.
Safety warning: This instruction must be followed to prevent potential personal injury.
Before dismounting a bearing from a tapered seating by means of the oil injection method,
ensure that a hydraulic nut or SKF lock nut is itted on the shaft end with a gap of around
two turns between the bearing and the nut. The nut acts as a brake and stops the bearing
being ejected uncontrollably.

6.4 Mounting bearing 6006 on shaft no.1

Make sure that the bearing bore, as well as the shaft and housing seating are clean.
Apply a thin layer of oil on the shaft. Select the correct combination of sleeve and impact
ring from Fitting Tool TMFT 36, according to the selection chart. Apply the bearing to its
seating and drive up using Fitting Tool TMFT 36.
