3) ZERO THE SCALE
Zeroing the scales is useful to define the zero value of the scale, which can lightly
vary depending on the environment temperature and due to light material fatigue.
Zeroing the scale before each use allows to guarantee best measurements results.
Press

ing criteria have to be fulfilled :
-No weight shall be hung on the scale
-The scale must not be locked, otherwise, the scale will display
-The scale must be stable, otherwise, the scale will display
-The scale must not be tared, otherwise, the scale will display
-The weight must be in Manual-Zero Range, otherwise, the scale will
display
For information about Manual-Zero Range, refer to the corresponding information
under "Scale configuration"
4) TARE FUNCTION
The tare function enables to weight goods packed in a container (gross mode)

subtracting the weight of the container itself. Therefore, you need to first weight
the container, and to then put the goods in it, so that the scale only determines
the weight of the goods (net weight).
To enter the tare function, press

-The scale must not be locked, otherwise, the scale will display
-The scale must be stable, otherwise, the scale will display
-The weight must exceed 0, otherwise, the scale will display
-The weight must be lighter than 100% F.S., otherwise, the scale will

You can then put the goods into the container to determine their own

CAUTION
Tare will reduce the apparent overloading range of the scale. For example, if a
5000*2kg scale has a 1000kg container as tare, the scale will overload at a new
weight of 4018kg (5000 – 1000 + additional 9 divisions of 2kg).
To quit the tare function (back to net mode), press

5) LOCK / UNLOCK (HOLD FUNCTION)
The lock function enables the scale to freeze the weight value at standstill. It sa-
ves the highest value measured, which is particularly interesting when the weight
value cannot be quickly determined or read by the user.

6) ACCUMULATE
The accumulate function enables to measure the weight of a charge and to then
add another one to weight both charges together. This function can be combined
with the TARE function.
Therefore, following criteria have to be fulfilled:
-The scale must not be locked, otherwise, the scale will display
-The scale must be stable, otherwise, the scale will display
-The weight must exceed 0, otherwise, the scale will display
-The scale must return zero before new weight can be accumulated,
