Risk of damage
It is possible to remove the hoist from the rail
motor without removing the rail motor from
the rail system. To avoid damage to the hoist:
– Always support the hoist when removing the
M6 screw.
6.2 Replacing the hand control
1. Slide and hold locking lever A away from the aperture
C.
2. Pull the plug B out of the aperture.
3. Insert plug of the new hand control into aperture.
Make sure, the plug is in the correct orientation with
the slot upwards (see image).
4. Release lever A, so that the gate closes and hold the
plug in the aperture.
6.3 Removing the hoist cover
Before removing the hoist cover, pull the red emergency
strap to turn off the hoist and remove the hoist from the
track system. Refer to:

1. Remove protection caps A. Use fingers or, if required,
use a screwdriver carefully.
2. Untighten screws B, using a screwdriver.
3. Remove the cover C from the hoist.
To close the hoist cover, tighten the screws and attach
the protection caps again.
6.4 Replacing Strap and Hook
Assemblies
Tools: 10 mm socket key; 5 mm hex/Allen key
1. With the ceiling hoist in the track, lower the straps to
their lowest point using the hand control.
2. Pull the red emergency strap to perform an emergency
stop. Do not perform emergency lowering.
3. Remove hoist from track. Refer to 6.1 Dismounting
the ceiling hoist, page 12.
4. Remove the cover. Refer to 6.3 Removing the hoist
cover, page 13.
5. Reset the emergency stop by pressing the reset button.
6. Check that the strap A is completely unwound as
shown in the image. If not, wind the straps out using
the UP/DOWN button on the hand control.
7. Align the strap retaining bolts B with the aperture in
the chassis using the UP/DOWN button on the hand
control.
8. Pull the red emergency strap again.
9. Remove strap bolts, using a 10 mm socket key and a
5 mm hex/Allen key.
10. Remove the strap through guide cylinder.
11. Insert a new strap through guide cylinder and
assemble using the strap retaining bolts (Torque: 4
Nm). Make sure that the new strap is fed over the
slack strap switch wire.
12. Re-mount the cover, re-assemble the hoist to the track
and reset the emergency stop.
