was issued by the

Use for intended purpose

Please observe the notes in these operating instructions, the different
conditions of use and permitted data that are specified in the data sheet for the
device, in order that it will function perfectly and remain operable for a long
time:
• On non-observance of these notes and unauthorized interference with the
device, we will refuse all liability and the warranty on device and
accessories will become void!
• The device serves exclusively as a solenoid valve for the approved media
listed on the data sheet.
• The type of protection used is fail-safe EEx i / Ex i for coils with cable
connection or connection via flat connector by means of unit socket.
• Use for purposes other than those specified is considered not for the
intended purpose . Bürkert accepts no liability for resulting damage. The
user alone shall bear the risk.
• Please also observe the data on the rating plate of the device.
Protection against gas explosion (G)
The devices are to be used exclusively in areas of potential gas explosion in
Apparatus Group II, Category 2G (Zones 1 and 2) and in Temperature Class
T5 or T6.
Protection against dust explosion (D)
The devices are to be used exclusively in areas of potential dust explosion in
Apparatus Group II, Category 2D (Zones 21 and 22).
