Mount clamp on truck carriage
A
Center the truck behind the clamp.

Tilt mast forward and raise carriage into
position.
C
Engage upper mounting hooks with carriage.
28G (Current Models) – Make sure centering
tab engages center notch on the top carriage
bar.
28G (Earlier Models), 36G-140G – Make
sure the locator tab on the left upper hook
engages the closest notch on the top
carriage bar.
D
Lift clamp 5 cm (2 in.) off pallet.
ITA Class II – 15–17 mm (0.60–0.66 in.)
ITA Class III – 18–20 mm (0.72–0.78 in.)
ITA Class II – 8–9 mm (0.32–0.36 in.)
ITA Class III – 10–11 mm (0.39–0.43 in.)

Install and engage lower hooks
BOLT-ON TYPE
Tap tight
into position
Tighten capscrews:
28G (Current Models) – 165 Nm (122 ft.-lbs.)
CL II/III – 225 Nm (166 ft.-lbs.)
CL IV – 390 Nm (287 ft.-lbs.)
