TROUBLE SHOOTING
PROBLEMS
• The conditioner does not work.
• The conditioner works only for a
short period.
• The conditioner works but does not
refresh the room.
• Water leaks from the conditioner
during transport.
• Alarm signal "Fi" appears on the control panel
display
• The conditioner switches off, the controls on
the remote control and the control panel do
not respond and alarm signal "2" fl ashes on
the control panel display.
• The conditioner switches off, the controls on
the remote control and the control panel do
not respond and alarm signal "8" fl ashes on
the control panel display.
• The air conditioner is off, the number "3"
fl ashes on the control panel display and the
red LED is on.
• In cooling, night-time or automatic mode,
minimum speed cannot be selected.
• In heating mode the air conditioner stops the
compressor or the external fan cyclically for a
few minutes.

LIKELY CAUSE
• No power.
• The plug has not been inserted.
• The power switch is set to "0"
• Timer is ON
• The temperature set is too close to
ambient temperature.
• Suction of outside air is obstructed.
• Window open.
• Some source of heat is operating in the
room (burner, lamps, etc.) or the room
is crowded.
• The temperature set is too high.
• The power of the conditioner is not
suitable for ambient conditions or
dimensions.
• The conditioner has been tilted or laid
fl at.
• The fi lter is dirty
• Excessive accumulation of water inside air
conditioner
• Ambient temperature too low
• Ambient temperature too low or too high

SUGGESTED SOLUTION
• Wait.
• Plug in the conditioner.
• Set the power switch to "I"
• Switch off the timer
• Lower the temperature set.
• Remove the obstructions.
• Call the Service Center.
• Close the window.
• Eliminate sources of heat.
• Lower the temperature set.
• Remove the plug (fi g.2 ref. n°4) and drain
the water before moving the conditioner.
• Clean the fi lter (refer to section 3.17)
• Switch the appliance back on and press but-
ton SW1 on the control panel for 5 seconds
so that the alarm signal disappears from the
display.
• Call the Service Centre.
• Call the Service Centre.
• Drain the water by removing the cap (fi g. 2
ref 4). Contact the service centre if this alarm
occurs too frequently.
This alarm is normal when heating without a
water drain pipe installed.
• Air conditioner behaviour is normal.
• Appliance behaviour is normal.
