LOCKING/RELEASING
The settings on the flash unit can be locked against
accidental adjustments being made.
Setting procedure
Press the button 13 for approx. 3s
• On the screen all of the sensor buttons are
displayed in white can no longer be operated.
Only the sensor button can be pressed.
To unlock, repeat the process
CONNECTING AN EXTERNAL POWER SOURCE
An external battery pack from Metz is available for
this flash unit from specialist photographic shops. It
offers a much higher number of flashes and a quicker
flash recycle time than with the power sources in the
flash unit itself. The power pack is connected to the
lower socket on the left using a cable (also available
from Metz).
Setting procedure
1. Press the button 13 repeatedly until the
selection menu appears
2. Press on the touch menu

4. Press
POWERPACK
5. Press for fast, or for even faster flash
recycle times
The selected setting is accepted immediately.
