Beware!
Always be attentive when you throw in the
cleaning powder! It must never be thrown into
any other container - this applies in particular
to the coffee grounds container!
The cleaning powder contains components which
are noxious when swallowed and may irritate
eyes and skin!
Observe the safety instructions supplied together
with the cleaning powder. Attend a doctor with
such instructions, if you feel any discomfort after
handling the cleaning powder!

d) Starting the cleaning program
When the spray protection plate has been inserted, as
described in c):
+ Open the machine door and press the "Start"
key (three acoustic signals are given). Close the
door again.
The display shows the selection menu. Select

the function ...
– "Mixer unit" if you only want to rinse the
mixer unit (takes approx. 1 min.).
– "Brewing system" if you wish to clean the
brewing system (takes approx. 22 min.). This
cannot be selected, however, if a brewing
process is currently running.
If there is any remaining coffee in the storage

urn, the machine asks if you would like to collect
it. In this case,
– place a jug under the beverage outlet and
– start the dispensing of remaining coffee with
key 8 (enter).
You should not throw in the cleaning powder until

the machine tells you so - to prevent the powder
from dissolving already during rinse and hold. As
soon as the display symbol appears ...
– Re-open the door of the machine and lift the

lid.

– Put three spoons full of cleaning powder
into the reservoir , , , , .
– Use the included brush for removing potential
deposits inside the reservoir. Otherwise the
quantity acquisition cannot work correctly.
– After you have closed everything again,
confirm the input of the cleaning powder by
pressing the

– the coffee grounds drawer, the cleaning
program starts already at this point;
– a container, then there will be first the
symbol "Evacuate Container ". Confirm this
with the key. The cleaning program will
