Test the lock
1. Test all functions of the lock and the door. Make sure that the appropriate
door gap is adjusted (Fig. 4, "Dimensions Wide Stile", page 71). The lock
must operate consistently smoothly for all functions. Latch and bolt must
move easily when closing. An inconsistent or sluggish movement of the bolt
can indicate a mounting error or distorted installation of the lock.
2. Test the lock's panic function. Make sure that the locked door can be opened
in the escape direction.
 The lock is ready for use.

Cutting dimensions for the lock pocket.

The lock pocket must be cut out such that the lock case has some play, but does
not sit too loosely. The cutting depth must match the backset of the lock. ASSA
ABLOY Sicherheitstechnik recommends the measurements in Tab. 5.
