Installing the lock

Prepare the lock pocket
1. Cut out the lock pocket according to
("Cutting dimensions for the lock pocket.", page 54).
2. Finish the holes for the fixing screws (Fig. 13, page 70).
3. Finish the holes for the lock fittings.
4. Clean the lock pocket and all holes by blowing them out or vacuuming.
 The lock pocket is now ready for the lock assembly.
Prepare the lock
1. Adjust the closing direction of the latch
("Adjust the closing direction", page 55).
2. Adjust the panic side ("Changing the panic side", page 56).
 The lock is now ready for installation.
Installing the lock
1. Insert the lock into the lock pocket and fasten it to the face plate.
2. Insert the profile cylinder and fasten it using the cylinder fixing screw.
3. Fasten the lock fittings.
4. Check the lock for ease of movement.
 Once the striking plate is mounted, the lock is ready for use.
Mounting the striking plate
1. Cut out the striking plate pocket.
2. Finish the holes for the fixing screws.
3. Clean the striking plate pocket and all holes by blowing them out or vacuum-
ing.
4. Fasten the striking plate.
 The striking plate is mounted.
