Limited movement of the door may result in life-threatening danger, risk of
injury and material damage: All blocking elements must be installed such that
the free movement of the door is not impeded. Doors may only be secured with
the approved locks. No additional devices may be installed. Any door closers
which are installed may not impair the actuation of the door by children and
infirm persons.
Unsuitable fastening means may result in life-threatening danger, risk of
injury and material damage, as well as reduced intrusion protection: Suitable
fastening means must be used depending in the installation situation and materi-
als of the door.

Important!

Property damage from work on the door leaf: The lock must be removed for all
work on the door leaf, such as drilling or cutting.
Impaired function due to incorrect door gap: The door gap (Fig. 4) must be ap-
propriately adjusted ("Dimensions Wide Stile", page 71).
Property damage due to unsuitable striking plate: The striking plate must be
selected ("Accessories, warranty, disposal", page 67) and mounted in a manner
such that it always acts as the stop face and sliding surface for the latch.
Property damage due to improper handling during transport: The door leaf
may not be lifted or carried by the door handles.
Property damage from opening the lock: Open the lock will damage it and void
the warranty ("Warranty", page 67).
Property damage from painting: Do not paint the lock or striking plate, or coat
either with other substances.
