Remote access

You can call your answering machine from another telephone to play any
new messages or execute other functions. A condition for this is the use of
a telephone which implements tone dialling.
PIN code for remote access
The default setting of the security PIN code is 0000". In order to use the
remote access function, the default PIN code 0000" must be changed.
Remote access is only possible when the PIN code is not set to 0000".
Changing the PIN code
Via the Answer Settings menu:

If the PIN code entry is incorrect, the OGM is repeated. If the PIN
is entered incorrectly three times, the line is automatically discon-
nected.

Remote activation of the answering machine

If you forgot to activate your answering machine, you call is taken
after the 10th ring.

Remote access is automatically cancelled if there is no input wit-
hin 8 seconds.
