Daily operation

D The appliance is for commercial use and may only be operated
− by trained personnel,
− if the appliance is supervised,
− for the purpose designated in the instruction manual,
− if the cooking zone is undamaged.
D The user alone is responsible for damage caused by use contrary to the intended use.
D Only use pots and pans suitable for induction ranges.
D Caution, the ceramic surface remains hot after use.
D Do not position cookware with the handles inside/over the cooking zone. Always hold using
oven gloves.
D Do not use the appliance as a storage or work surface.
D Do not cover any air vents on the appliance.
D If you cannot remedy malfunctions with the help of section 5. page 24 " Faults and
remedies", switch off the appliance and notify customer service.
Risk of injury
D Persons with medical aids, e.g. a pacemaker or metal implants, must consult with their doc­
tor to establish clarify whether they are allowed to be near an induction cooker.
D While hob is being used with a pan on it, objects worn by the user, e.g. rings, earrings and
piercings can become hot if they come too close to the surface of the hob.
D Make sure that the pots and pans do not touch each other. The contact surfaces can weld
together (short-circuit) and lead to burns.
D Risk of burns. Appliance surfaces get hot. Pans become hot very quickly. Caution when re­
moving overheated pans.
Risk of fire / fire safety
D Cooking oil or cooking fat gets hot very quickly and can ignite. The appliance must not be
used for deep frying.
D Approved fire extinguishers for cooking oil and fat fires must be available for fighting fires.
