Cleaning stainless steel surfaces

. Wash off the cleaned parts thoroughly after using harsh cleaning products.
. Clean stainless steel surfaces with grease-dissolving cleaning products or special stainless
steel cleaners.
. Rub cleaned parts and surfaces dry with a soft cloth.

Troubleshooting

If faults should occur on this appliance, check them using the following table:
Fault
The green indic­
ator light or the il­
luminated ring
does not light up
when the appli­

The cookware
does not get hot.
Insufficient heat
output
If you cannot resolve the fault,
− turn off the appliance and disconnect from the mains power,
− do not open the housing,
− contact customer service.

Possible cause
Main switch on front of the appli­
ance is not turned on.
There is no power supply at all.
The circuit breaker has tripped.
A phase is missing in the power
supply.
The cookware
− is not suitable for induction
ranges,
− is not positioned centrally on
the cooking zone,
− is less than 12 cm in dia­
meter .
The induction field coil has be­
come too hot.
The generator has reduced the
power because
− an empty pan or pot has
been heated,
− air circulation is obstructed,
− the ambient temperature is
too high, or
− a pot that has been over­
heated and hence damaged
is being used.
Remedy
Turn on the main switch.
Notify
the electricity supply company.
Have possible appliance faults checked
by an authorized customer service agent.
Reset the circuit breaker.
Have any faults in the mains wiring
checked by an approved electrician.

Use cookware suitable for induction
ranges.

Check air vents on the appliance. The air
vents must not be covered or allowed to
get dirty.
No hot air may be sucked in. The ambient
temperature must not exceed
40°C / 110°F.
If the cookware has been damaged by
overheating and the pot or pan base has
come away from the core, the heat can no
longer be transferred into the cookware
and hence the food quickly enough. The
appliance overheating protection switches
the appliance off. Dispose of the cook­
ware that has been damaged by over­
heating.
