f) Switching on the Speed Controller
To prevent sudden start-up of the wheels and therefore uncontrolled starting of the model (e.g. if the
trimming for the drive is maladjusted), place the model vehicle on a suitable support (or starting box), so
that the wheels can turn freely.
Never reach into the drive, and do not stop the wheels with your hand; danger of injury!
Leave the throttle/brake lever at the transmitter in its neutral position (do not move the lever). Switch on the speed
controller ("ON", for switch position at the vehicle, see chapter 8. e).
The LEDs at the speed controller flash and the motor emits several sounds. Then the orange LED is lit and the vehicle
is ready for operation.
The sounds are generated by a short start-up of the brushless motor.
Check the drive and steering functions of the vehicle; see chapter 8. h). Let the vehicle stand on a support (or starter
box) for this, so that the wheels can turn freely.
If the drive is not working, the neutral position and full throttle positions for forward and reverse driving
must be programmed at the speed controller first. See chapter 10 in these operating instructions for this.
If the steering works opposed to the movement at the rotation knob at the transmitter (a turn to the left at the transmitter
makes the wheels go to the right), activate the steering reverse function.
The vehicle should drive forwards if you pull the throttle/brake lever at the transmitter towards the handle. If this is not
the case, either reverse the motor's rotational direction (swap two of the three motor cables if possible) or activate the
driving reverse function at the transmitter.
g) Attaching and Fastening the Car Body
If the car body is included separately and the car body holder is not installed on the car body yet, observe
chapters 11 and 12.
Guide the aerial tube through the provided opening from the bottom of the car body so that the aerial tube points up
vertically with the receiver aerial in it.
Now put the car body on the holders and fasten the vehicle panelling with the holding brackets removed at the start.
Your car is now ready for its first test run.
