Programming the Speed Controller
a) Programming of Neutral and Full Throttle Positions
A On/off switch
B Setup button
C Red LED
D Orange LED
For programming the neutral and full throttle positions for forward/reverse driving, proceed as follows:
• Place the vehicle on an appropriate surface so that the wheels can turn freely.
• Switch on the transmitter, but leave the throttle/brake in the neutral position. Put the trimming for driving into the
centre position. Put the reverse switch for driving into the "Reverse" position.
• Keep the setup button (B) down and switch the speed controller on with the on/off switch (A); switch position "ON",
see figure on top. Press and hold the setup button (B) until only the orange LED is lit (about 4 seconds). Then
release the setup button (B).
• Move the throttle/brake lever into full throttle for forward driving (pull the throttle all the way towards the handle) and
keep it there.
The red LED (C) flashes for about 2-3 seconds and then is lit permanently. The motor emits a sound signal (it is
generated by the brief activation of the motor by the speed controller). The full throttle position for forward driving is
stored.
• Move the throttle/brake lever into full throttle for reverse driving (push the throttle away from the handle all the way)
and keep it there.
The orange LED (D)flashes for 2-3 seconds and then is lit permanently. The motor emits two sound signals. The full
throttle position for reverse driving is stored.
• Release the throttle/brake so that it sits in the neutral position.
The red LED (C) and the orange LED (D) flash at the same time for about 2-3 seconds and go out then. The motor
emits three sound signals. The neutral position is now saved.
• Switch the speed controller off; the programming is complete and stored now.
• If you switch on the speed controller again now, the speed controller is ready for operation with the settings made
above.
