behind the dart shooter. Young people should be supervised by an adult. Don't
aim at any people or animals. Darts are not a child's toy. Make sure that you
keep the area around the dartboard free! Do not allow through-traffic. Children,
other persons or animals should not remain in front of, next to or behind the
dartboard. Please note that the steel tips can cause injury or damage. Please
choose the location of your dart board very carefully. We do not take liability for
damages from incorrect handling.
INSTRUCTIONS ON ASSEMBLY
Dartboard Assembly: Attach the included metal hook at a height of 173 cm
above ground – measured from the centre of the dart board (bullseye) – against
the wall, using 2 of the included screws. Adjust the third screw into the centre
on the back of the dartboard. You can fix the fixing brackets with the enclosed
nails, at three points on the back, in order to prevent a swinging of the disc. The
launch position marking must be 237 cm from the dartboard. To ensure that you
have full range of movement while launching your darts, you will have to have
an additional clearance of 100 cm behind the launch position marking. (Fig. 1)
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
RULES
Who begins?
Each player throws a dart at the dartboard. Whoever throws nearest the bullseye
can begin. After this the players take turn until the end of the game.
Throw
A throw consists of three darts. All darts are thrown one after another at the
dartboard by hand.
How to score (Fig. 2)
The dartboard is divided into 20 segments (1-20) and has an additional 2 bull
fields in the centre. Two rings run through the segments. The outer ring (double)
gives you double points; the inner ring (triple) gives you treble points. The outer
bull area counts for 25 points and the area in the middle (bullseye) counts for
50 points. Darts which drop off from the board or hit outside of the outer ring
do not count.
All images are examples of the design.
301/ 501 GAME (YOU REQUIRE PEN AND PAPER.)
Each player begins with either 301 (2 players) or 501 points (more players). The
points thrown should be subtracted from the starting points. Whoever reaches 0
points first, wins the leg. It can be agreed that 0 points have to be reached with
a double, triple, bull or bullseye. (Example: 14 points are left. If you agreed upon
double, the last dart must hit segment 7 in the outer ring.) If more points than
necessary are thrown to reach 0 points, none of the three darts from this round
count and the score of the previous round remains unchanged. A game consists
of 3 legs. The ultimate winner is the player who wins 2 legs first.
