2.2 Double-sided clock
2.2.1 Mechanical installation
This double-sided clock can weigh up to 28 kg. It is important to take into account
the mechanical stresses involved in locking, which is why we recommend installing
this double-sided clock preferably on a concrete wall.
The double-sided clock must be previously opened before being installed.
Follow the steps below to proceed with the mechanical installation of the clock.
2.2.1.1 Standard mounting
Unscrew and remove the air inlet screw
1
located beneath the bracket arm. (6 mm
Allen key, tightening torque: 15 Nm)
Partially unscrew the four cover screws
2
on one clock face. (3 mm Allen key,
tightening torque: 1.2 Nm)
Carefully slide open and partially separate
3
this clock face to access the clock's
internal cabling.
Disconnect the cable connected to the
4
movement on both clock faces.
Remove the first clock face completely
5
and place it on a straight, clean and
uncluttered work surface.
Partially unscrew the four cover screws
6
on the second clock face, then remove
this face and place it on a straight, clean
and uncluttered work surface.
Remove the cardboard wedge between
7
the movement and the dial.
Where the clock is to be installed:
8
drill 4 holes according to the layout and
dimensions indicated below for fixing the
bracket.
In the case of a standard mounting on a
9
concrete wall, insert the wall plugs into
the drilled holes.
Run the cable through the clock's bracket
10
arm.
Place the bracket in position and tighten
11
the wall fixings.
It is recommended to apply a silicone
seal between the plate and the wall for
watertightness.
Replace the clock's face opposite the
12
grommet after first cleaning the seal of
this face and applying silicone oil on it.
Tighten the four cover screws (1.2 Nm)
13
on this clock face.
