- Check extension cable regularly and replace it as soon as you notice any damage.
- Never use a defective supply cable / extension cord.
- Use only extension cords approved for outdoors use, if necessary.
- Never use provisional electrical connections.
- Do not short-circuit safety equipment and never switch them off.
➢ All electrical connections or repairs on electrical parts of the machine must be carried out by a
certified electrician or an authorised service centre. Local regulations, particularly with regard to
protective measures must be observed.
➢ Repairs to other parts of the machine must be performed by the manufacturer or its authorised
service centre.
➢ Only use original spare parts or accessories. The use of other parts and other accessories may
cause risk of injury to the user and releases the manufacturer's liability for any damage incurred.
IV. GETTING STARTED
4.1- Unpacking
We recommend that at least 2 persons unpack the log cutting saw package.
Remove product from its packaging.
Check that product and accessories are not damaged
4.2- Set up and preparation for operation
- Check that the machine is completely and correctly assembled according to local regulations.
- Make sure that no parts are missing. If one (or more) part(s) is (are) missing, do NOT use the saw.
Contact your local dealer to obtain the missing parts and make sure to correctly assemble them before
using the machine. Failure to do so may result in serious injury.
- Before using the machine, make sure each time that
- there are no faulty connections (tears, cuts, etc.)
- there is no damage to the machine
- all screws are tight
- Ensure that the working area meets the following conditions:
- no danger of slipping
- Flat and levelled surface
- free of obstacles, free form tripping hazard
- sufficiently well lit
- Do not operate the machine in the direct vicinity of gas or petrol pipes or containers, or any other
easily inflammable materials or explosive products or materials.
- The saw must be installed on a flat, non-slippery surface with enough space to allow sufficient
movement.
The area and access to the saw should be free from obstacles and tripping hazard, slippery locations
must be treated with the corresponding material, for example, sand.
It is necessary to regularly remove sawdust and pieces of wood.
