It will do the job better and safer at the rate speed for which it is intended.
Do not use the product for purposes other than those for which it is intended. The product will do a
better and safer job if it is used only for the purposes it was designed for.
Do not, under any circumstances, alter your log saw. This equipment was designed and engineered to
be used in accordance with the operating instructions. Altering the equipment or using the equipment
in such a way as to circumvent its design capabilities and capacities, could result in serious or fatal
injury.
Never try to cut logs larger than those indicated in the specifications table. This could be dangerous
and may damage the machine.
7. Use the right product
Do not force small products or attachments to do the job of heavy-duty tools.
8. Dress properly
Do not wear loose clothing, gloves, neckties or jewellery; as they can be caught in moving
parts.
Wear protective hair covering to contain long hair.
9. Use protective equipment
Wear protective equipment appropriate to working conditions and work environment
Wear protective helmet, safety goggles, ear mufflers, face or dust mask or breathing mask with
proper filter, rubber gloves and non-skid footwear to reduce the risk of personal injury during
products use or manipulation.
10. Do not overreach
Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
Floor must not be slippery.
Never stand on log or log saw. Serious injury could occur if the tool is tipped or if the cutting tool is
unintentionally contacted.
Do not store anything above or near the log saw where anyone might stand on the tool to reach them.
11. Maintain product with care
Keep product clean for better and safer performance.
Follow instructions for lubrication and changing accessories.
Keep handles dry, clean and free from oil and grease
12. Disconnect (switch off) product
when not in use, before servicing and when changing accessories.
13. Remove adjusting keys and wrenches
Form the habit of checking to see that keys and adjusting wrenches are removed from the product
before starting it.
14. Avoid unintentional starting
Ensure switch is off before starting.
15. Stay alert
Watch what you are doing. Use common sense.
Never operate this machine or any other power equipment if you are tired, ill, or
under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other substance that could affect
your ability of judgment to use it properly.
16. Check damaged parts
Before further use or reuse of the product, it should be carefully checked to determine that it will
operate properly and perform its intended function.
Check for alignment of moving parts, free running of moving parts, breakage of parts, mounting and
any other conditions that may affect its operation.
Replace damaged, worn out or illegible labels / stickers.
17. Do not abuse the power cable
Never carry the tool by the cable or yank it to disconnect it from the socket.
Keep the cable away from heat, oil and sharp edges.
Inspect tool cable periodically and if damaged have it repaired by an authorized service facility.
