REPLACING THE X STEPPER MOTOR-
Part number: X STEPPER MOTOR (new model): 45466
X STEPPER MOTOR (old model) : 45443
The M40 machines before serial number 64563‐10 have been fitted with X stepper motor p/n:
45443. To increase the speed movement in X axis, all M40 are now fitted with a new motor p/n:
45466, for easily recognizing which kind of stepper motor is in the machine, we add an index XXXXX‐
10 and more after serial number.
Les machines M40 avant le N° de série 64563‐10 ont été assemblées avec un moteur X ref : 45443.
Pour améliorer la vitesse de déplacement en X, toutes les M40 sont maintenant assemblées avec un
nouveau moteur ref:45466. Pour facilement reconnaître quel type de moteur est dans la machine,
nous avons ajouter un index XXXXX‐10 (et plus) après le N° de série
Dismantling operation ‐ Opération de démontage
Remove the electronic rack : see chapter M40-005
Sortir le rack électronique : voir chapitre M40-005
Move the y Bridge to the left side (back view) and loosen the 4
screws of the top cover.
Déplacer le pont Y sur la gauche (vue arrière) et desserrer les
4 vis du carter supérieur.
Lift the top cover up and sliding it slightly to the left.
Soulever légèrement le carter puis le tirer doucement.
Loosen the coupling screw (lead screw side).
Desserrer la vis (coté vis sans fin) de l'accouplement.
