iNFORMAtiON
iMPORtANt: The hydraulic and electrical connections must comply with good professional practice
and the applicable standards for the location of the filter installation. It is especially important to fit
effective air-chamber units if the water input and output piping is fitted with devices likely to generate
water-hammer effects (for example, solenoid valves).

GeNeRAl iNFORMAtiON
The Filter 1500 is a range of filters designed to clarify water and remove iron, odours, chlorine and organic or
colloidal matter, the filters are are cleaned through a back-washing and a co-current rinsing process.
FilteR COMPOSitiON
Each Filter 1500 is made up of two parts:
- A body containing the active medium,
- A hydraulic head enabling the three service, washing and rinsing functions.
The bodies are have a high cylindrical height and are particularly suited to the construction of twin-layer cla-
rifying filters, neutralisers or dechlorinator-deodorisers.
The electronic control unit provides the means to control the Filter 1500 and the various washing stages. Equip-
ped with microprocessors, it can be programmed through the 5 key keyboard on the front panel. It controls a
hydraulic distributor using very low voltage safety current (24 volts AC).
Moreover, like any electrical assembly, the control box electronics are sensitive to electrical or magnetic distur-
bance. The control unit is fitted with a series of filters to eliminate the most common interference. However,
should the unit be located near to power switches, transformers or any other source of interference, shielded
cable should be used for all connections, and a suitable interference suppressor fitted.
