a - Holidays
In case you leave for a long period, you can stop the filter by pressing the «semi-auto 3» button for 5 seconds.
The display flashes and the filter will not be washed autornatically.
Likewise to return to automatic operation, simply press «semi-auto 3» again.
b - Unprogrammed washing
If large quantities of water are consumed or if the water is particularly dirty, an unprogrammed wash can be
started by pressing the «wash 1» button for a five seconds.
c - Semi-automatic operation
lf the filter is only used intermitiently (for example, in a weekend cottage), press the «semi-auto 3» button to
select semi-automatic operation.
The Filter 1500 will not then be washed automatically.
When it needs washing, press the «wash 1» button a few seconds.
The figures flash to indicate it is in the semi-automatic mode.
MAlFUNCtiONS
No display: Plug disconnected and/or mains failure, battery discharged. Control box unserviceable.
Check the plug or change the box.
Pressing buttons has no effect: No mains power supply, control box unserviceable
Buttons can only be used if mains power is available to the box. Change the box.
No washing: Mains power supply incorrect or failed. Fault in the hydraulic block or control box.
Check the mains power supply. The dots between the hours and minutes must flash. Call in the BWT.
Filter does not restart after washing: Fault in the hydraulic block or control box.
Call in the BWT.
No washing operation ever triggered: Water flow too low. Fault in the hydraulic block or control box.
Correct the feed water circuit. Call in the BWT.
MAiNteNANCe
Check the pressure drop across the filter (the difference between the inlet and outlet pressures) when drawing
off a normal quantity of water. If necessary, adjust the washing frequency.
Some components are subject to normal wear and tear due to the operation of the equipment. These com-
ponents, also called operating and/or wearing parts must be regularly replaced by a person qualified and
authorised to perform this operation.
Operating and wearing parts are excluded from our general guarantee conditions.
The frequency of replacement depends on the conditions of installation and operation of the equipment
(pressure, nature of the untreated water, frequency of washing processes).

A visual examination of the unit must be made at least once a year to assess the condition of the connections,
connectors, display, etc.
- Regularly check that there are no leaks and replace seals if necessary.
- Regularly check the washing and rinsing phases.
- Check the condition of the active charge once per year..
