In order to avoid electric shock, do not use the appliance if the supply cord or
plug are damaged or the appliance is otherwise faulty, dropped or damaged. Do
not operate if damaged in any way or after the appliance malfunctions, never
attempt repairs yourself. Immediately cease use of the appliance and take it to
SOLIS or a SOLIS approved service center for examination, repair or adjustment.

Never put sharp or pointed objects and tools into the appliance openings. The
appliance may become damaged - danger of electric shock!

For safety reasons it is recommended you plug your SOLIS Tea Maker Prestige di-
rectly into its own electrical outlet on a dedicated circuit separate from other ap-
pliances. If the electric circuit is overloaded with other appliances your appliance
may not function properly. Use in conjunction with a power strip or extension
cord is not recommended.

We recommend the use of a residual current device (RCD safety switch) to en-
sure additional protection during the use of electrical appliances. It is advisable
to use a safety switch with a rated residual operating current of 30 mA maxi-
mum. For professional advice consult an electrician.
•
The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or
separate remote control system.
•
Persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities (including children)
or uninformed and inexperienced people are not permitted to use the Tea
Maker, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or are
instructed by this person exactly how to use the appliance.

Children must be supervised, so that they do not play with the Tea Maker.

The Glass Jug must be used only with the Power Base supplied. Do not use on
a range top.
•
Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the handle for lifting and carrying the Glass Jug.
•
Attach the Jug Lid securely to the Glass Jug before operation.
•
Do not place anything on top of the Jug Lid.
•
Do not open the Jug Lid during operation as scalding may occur.
•
Extreme caution must be used when moving the Glass Jug containing hot liq-
uid.
•
Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used by or near children.
•
Use caution when pouring water from the Glass Jug as boiling water and steam
will scald. Do not pour the water too quickly.
