Open the optical fiber interlocking 1

Insert the optical fibers 4 into the provided openings as far as they will go
(approx. 15 mm) 2

Close the optical fiber interlocking 3

NOTE
When using a proximity variant with coaxial fiber arrangement, connect the core fiber or
fiber marked in white to the sender. Connect the second fiber to the receiver.

Rotate the adapter piece counter-clockwise and guide the optical fibers in. Lock by
turning clockwise.
2.
Cut off the excess optical fiber.
Slide each evaluation unit onto the mounting rail and hook it in.
Attach the end piece on both sides to secure.
Up to 16 units can be connected to each other via the bus connectors.
