Once the slave setup is complete, the communication status, slave device description and IP address will be displayed.
The status can be [Offline] i.e. not connected or connecting (connection may take a moment depending on system complexity) or [Online] i.e. connected and fully functional.

Once all slaves in the system have been added, one of them (the one with the [Backup] box flagged) can be set to back up the ETI/SER XIP master continuously.

Assign a port (20050 to 20166).
If the ETI/SER XIP master fails, it will be replaced by the ETI-XIP slave with backup flagged, and the remaining slaves will communicate with it via the assigned

port. The port is also marked
in the [Device mode] section.
The ETI-XIP gateway replacing the ETI/SER XIP server in the event of a failure will only be able to guarantee basic video-entry and access-control system
