TESTING, DELIVERY,
INSTALLATION
Testing
The machine will have been tested in our plant in order to
ensure that it operates correctly.
Tests on the suction values are carried out during this
phase.
This ensures that the vacuum has been optimised
according to the job for which it was designed.
Delivery and handling
The machine is delivered, fixed to a pallet and covered
with a cardboard box.
When receiving the machine check for concealed
damage. If damage is discovered, immediately file a
complain with the carrier.
Use a fork lift to unload the vacuum cleaner.
ATTENTION!
Lift the machine with a fork lift of adequate
carrying capacity.
In view of the particular height of the
vacuum, check that the load is firmly
positioned on the forks.
When transporting the vacuum, keep the
load as low as possible to ensure greater
visibility and stability, and to work safely.
The forks must be widened and positioned
in the centre of the machine.
The machine can be stored at temperatures between 0°
and 30°C, and 65% relative humidity. It must be
ascertained, that the floor surface is of adequate
load-carrying capability to bear the weight
of the machine. Before storage the machine must always
be cleaned in accordance with the instructions.
The machine can be operated in the temperature range
-5° to + 30°C and 65% relative humidity.
The delivery packaging should be disposed of in
accordance with the relevant statutory regulations.
Dispose of a machine, which is no longer usable, in
accordance with the relevant statutory regulations.
Only use approved commercially available,
non-combustible and non-toxic solvents for the purpose of
cleaning the machine.
If the use of compressed air is absolutely unavoidable,
wear protective goggles with side protection and limit the
pressure to a maximum of 2 bars.

Installing the vacuum
ATTENTION!
The user shall be responsible for ensuring
that installation complies with the local
statutory regulations.
A qualified technician, who has read and
understood the instructions herein, must
install the equipment.
The floor on which the vacuum must operate should be
level, flat and solid.
If the vacuum is to work in a fixed position, allow ample
space all round in order to ensure freedom of movement
and allow the maintenance staff to operate with ease.
Connecting to the mains socket
ATTENTION!
Check that the voltage and frequency values
of the mains socket correspond to the
values indicated on the data plate.
Specialised personnel must carry out all
installation and maintenance work on
electrical parts.
Connect the equipment to an efficient earth.
Ensure that the electrical supply matches the machine
rating plate.
ATTENTION!
Always remove the power plug from the
mains socket before working inside the
electric panel (see fig. 3).
If power cable "2" must be replaced, open the electrical
cabinet door "5".
Take care to prevent damage to earth cable "4", which
connects door "5".
Disconnect the three wires plus the yellow-green earth
wire from terminals "3".
Remove the cable and replace this with one possessing
the same characteristics, fixing this to the same terminals
"3".
