Description:
A vacuum sensor, installed to display and regulate distillation pressure, monitors pressure in the
glassware kit either. Pressure rise above e.g. 1,100 mbar will disconnect the LABOROTA 20
control by activating the „Emergency" function:
Hot bath lift rises automatically,
heater and rotation are disconnected,
vacuum controller off, aeration valve open and vacuum pump off,
system is aerated,
a buzzer sounds continuously,
Emergency LED lights, Akt Vacuum LED flashes.
To reset Emergency-function, turn power switch OFF and ON.
Limit value:
Depending on local atmospheric pressure, limit value may be adjusted. In the factory, a standard
value of 1,100 mbar was set, you may do your own settings between 900 and 1,200 mbar.
Rule of thumb:
The higher your local elevation, the lower your limit value. Make reference to the pressure in the
aerated system, as displayed, plus about 50 mbar.
Edit limit value:
Turn LABOROTA 20 control OFF with "power" switch.
Depress Select and Start Stop keys in the „Time" block
the same time, hold depressed and turn power switch
to "ON". Wait for all of the LEDs are lighted and release
Select and Start Stop keys.
Display I shows the actual limit value, e.g. 1,100 mbar.
Use arrow keys to edit this value.
Display II shows the emergency cut-out function active or
not by „ON" or „OFF". Use Mode key to select „ON" or
„OFF".
