INTENDED USE
The Thermo Scientific™ Oxoid™ Antimicrobial Susceptibility Disc Dispenser is a 6 or 8 place
height adjustable disc dispenser (with a 90 mm or a 100 mm skirt) used as an accessory to the
AST disc range. The Disc Dispenser applies discs equidistance onto agar plates with a simple,
one-handed operation. The integrity of the discs when cartridges are opened is ensured by a
moisture-free environment provided by a desiccant located inside the base of the device.
The device is for professional use only, is not automated, and nor is it a companion diagnostic.
