3. Product description
The compact heat pump installation set WPKI-Set is a compo-
nent of the heat pump system and is specifically designed for
the hydraulic connection of the heat source and heat consumer
side. This connection is made via two brine/water heat pumps.
In addition to supplying the heating circuit with heating energy,
you can also use the heat pump system for domestic hot water
heating.
The WPKI-Set is delivered with components pre-assembled as
far as possible. It comprises pipework assemblies, circulation
pumps and non-return valves, as well as connections for the
heat source and heat consumer system.
Note
The following components are not part of the stan-
dard delivery:
- Brine circuit pump on the heat source side
- Circulation pump for DHW heating
Note
With brine | water heat pumps, the heat source can
also be used for cooling purposes, i.e. as a heat sink.
The HE circulation pump UP 30/7.5 E are suitable for
cooling operations.
3.1
Type of connection
Note
As of the 01/03/2012 (date of manufacture 8735) the
appliances WPF 10 M, WPF 13 M and WPF 16 M feature
an integral electrical connection for the brine circuit
pump as standard.
Two brine circuit pumps on the source side
Each heat pump is supplied by a separate brine circuit pump.
The brine circuit pumps are switched by the respectively
connected heat pump.
