Turning the device on or off
The on/off switch of the i-See Speech is located at the lower right hand side on the back of the
monitor (see the Controls pictures in chapter 3). To start up or shut down the device, hold it for 2
seconds until you hear the startup or shutdown tone.
During start up the logo appears on the screen and when this disappears, the live image of the
camera is displayed. This is the "Live view mode" of the device. The device is now ready to use.
Switching between modes
The i-See is divided in different modes to get the best performance for the different usage. So it
is possible to set the device to these modes: Live view, Speech and external input.
EN
Press the ON/OFF button once while the device is on, to step between the different modes.
Once a remote control is connected, you can flip the remote control to switch between the Live
view and the Speech mode.
The external input is only available when an HDMI cable is connected to one of the
HDMI ports at the back of the i-See Speech and to an external device (see the Con-
nections picture, chapter 3.). An external device can be a camera or a computer.
The device can be switched to this mode by pressing the power button until the exter-
nal input icon is shown, or by pressing the external input button on the remote control.
