IMPORTANT NOTE: The preset cooking functions are designed to provide you
the optimal performance based on the above serving weight; you may need to
reduce the preset cooking time and/or monitor the cooking cycles for smaller
food portions. As soon as the Toaster Oven is plugged in, the LCD display panel
and the power light will illuminate. If there is no operation within 30 seconds, the
display panel backlight will turn off, and the unit will enter into "Sleep" mode.
Press any control panel button to restore display backlight and activate the unit.
CAUTION:
Never leave the Toaster Oven unattended while it is in use. It is recommended
when removing or inserting items into a hot toaster oven to use oven mitts.
TOAST
The large capacity oven allows for toasting slices of bread, English muffins, frozen
waffles, or frozen pancakes. When toasting only 1 or 2 items, place the food in
the center of the Toaster Oven's rack.
1. Insert the wire rack on the lower rack guide and place food onto the rack.
2. Turn the FUNCTION ADJUST DIAL, stop when the function indicator points to
Toast on the LCD display. The display will show the default toast color setting
at Medium.
3. To adjust toast color, turn the TIME/TEMP. ADJUST DIAL until the function
indicator points to the Toast color setting you desire, Light, Medium or Dark.
4. The time and temperature of Toast mode is preset and CANNOT be adjusted.
5. Press the START/STOP button to start Toast. The unit will beep and the light
underneath the button illuminate red to signal that toasting is in process.
6. When time is finished, the oven will beep 5 times and shut off automatically.
7. To stop toasting before the time is up, hold the START/STOP button for 2
seconds.
