Troubleshooting

PROBLEM
Toaster Oven will
not turn "on".
The LCD display
light has gone out.
The pizza does not
cook evenly.
The pizza crust
does not crisp.
The heating
elements turn off
during cooking.
The door is covered
with condensation.
The temperature on
the screen doesn't
match the internal
temperature.
SOLUTION
• Check the power plug is securely inserted into the
power outlet.
• Insert power plug into another outlet.
• Reset the circuit breaker if necessary.
• The toaster oven has gone into STANDBY mode if
not used. When in STANDBY mode the LCD screen
will not illuminate.
• Simply turn either the TIME/TEMP ADJUST DIAL or
the FUNCTION DIAL to remove unit from standby.
• Large pizzas may not cook evenly in compact
ovens. Open the door half way through the cooking
process and rotate the pizza for a more even
browning.
• Either use a dark colored, non-stick pizza pan
when cooking the pizza- or you can cook the pizza
directly on the wire rack. However care should
be taken as melted cheese and other ingredients
may build up on the heating elements causing a
potential fire risk.
• A constant temperature is kept during the cooking
process by turning the power in the elements on
and off. This is normal.
• This is normal. High-moisture contents foods will
create excess steam during the cooking process.
• The temperature on the display is calibrated to the
middle rack with no tray in place. Re-check the
temperature in this position. Note- opening and
closing the door will allow heat to escape lowering
the cooking temperature.
