3.6 Entering letters and numbers

ICS241 supports the input of numbers, English letters and punctuation. A large amount of
information can be entered via keyboard, e.g. article information, article number, ID1, ID2.
When letter or number input is required, one of the following symbols is displayed in the
upper right corner of the screen:
• : Numeric input.
• : Capital letters and other special characters.
• : Lower-case letters and other special characters.
➜ Press to switch between capital letters and lower-case letters.
➜ Text input on your device corresponds with text input on a cellphone.
Up to four characters are assigned to the keys of the numeric keyboard.
➜ C onfirm input pressing the key
