BATTERY OPERATION WATER + DAMPER
If there is a shut-off valve (dip1 ON), the
position of the probe can be managed from
either upstream or downstream of the valve
(on the standard position engraved in the heat
exchanger). The substantial difference between
the two consists of managing the ventilation
differently. If the water probe is upstream of the
valve (dip2 ON) or not present, there is a heat

Replacement: the heat exchanger (battery)
is used to condition the spaces if the
renewal air in intake does not present
temperatures suited to the setpoint chosen
by the user. The figure shows the thresholds
for enabling the operation of the motorised
damper.

Then the fan inhibition time is automatically
calculated and depends on how long the valve
has been closed; it can therefore vary from a
minimum of 0'00" to a maximum of 2'40". This
delayed enabling of the fan compared to the
opening of the valve is reset if the electric resistor

The figure provides an indication of the operating
logic of the valve if the thermostat is used with
thermostat-controlled or modulated ventilation
logic. As seen in the figure, in HEATING mode the
valve is used by exploiting the terminal's capacity
to emit heat even with the fan off (chimney
effect). On one hand, this allows use of the
