As with the hydromassage, the blower also has a maximum op-
erating time. The default value is 20 minutes.
When the blower is turned on, the ozonator and the filtering
pump are deactivated in the same manner as described in the
previous chapter on hydromassage.
NOTE: in models equipped with a blower, you can in-
sert aroma therapy perfumed cartridges in the pipes
leading from the two blowers mounted on the spa-pak
(refer to the drawing in the chapter on installation and
plumbing connections.
When cartridges are to be replaced, this must be
done with the blowers off.

WINTER SHUTDOWN
In areas where winter temperatures frequently drop below 0°
C, during the period when the spa is not in use it is advisable to
completely drain the system (spa, compensation tank, pipes, fil-
ter). In these situations, valves will also be provided for complete
drainage of the pipes that connect the spa, the compensation
i
tank and the (
2, 2a, 3, 3a - detail 31).
In areas where temperatures are only occasionally below 0
°C, the spa can be kept in operation, provided it is equipped
with anti-freeze protection that ensures water is kept at a min-
imum temperature (see the paragraph on maintaining a mini-
mum water temperature in the chapter on method of water
heating").

MAINTENANCE
I
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Keep the spa covered at all times when not in use. In this way,
along with keeping the water from getting dirty, you will also avoid
heat loss and evaporation.
CAUTION:
The cover is not designed to withstand weights.
Do not stand, sit or lie on the cover, and do not set
objects on it.
If the spa is installed indoors, the amount of humidity may be
very high, even if the cover is used (when not in use). In these
situations, it is advisable to provide a ventilation system that en-
sures the best level of humidity.
To clean the suction nozzles, remove the cover and its o-ring
(1), using a screwdriver, unscrew the internal filter (2, present
only on the bottom drain), using a cone-shaped spanner (3),
thoroughly clean the parts and remove any residues.
1
NOTES
- the intakes must be cleaned with the tub empty. Remember
to refit all the parts before re-filling the spa.
-the suction intake grilles must be checked at least once a
week.
For long periods of disuse, it is advisable to completely drain
the system (refer to the chapter on emptying the tub and win-
ter shutdown). Periodic drainage, during normal use, vary de-
pending on the frequency of use, the contaminants and the
type of installation.
Even if not used particularly frequently, you are advised to re-
place the water at least once a month to ensure water quality.
The baskets of the pre-filters of the compensation tank must
be cleaned at least once a week, or even more often if the spa
is used frequently. The pre-filter located at the inlet of the fil-
tering pump must also be checked periodically.
