• The flow of extracted air must be clean (that is free of
grease, soot, chemical and corrosive agents and
explosive or flammable mixtures).
• Keep the appliance intake and outlet grilles free to
ensure optimum air flow.
• Maximum operating temperature: 50°.
• Specifications for the power supply must correspond
to the electrical data on ID plate A (Fig.1).

Frame and equipment supplied
The main parts of the appliance are:
• an outer structure in galvanised sheeting, with
mechanical fastening fixings;
• the polystyrene countercurrent type heat exchanger
whose special shape ensures the highest possible
efficiency in terms of heat exchange (up to 92%);
• the two bearing motors with two speed settings;
• 2 x F5 filters.
Installation
The appliance must be installed according to the safety
regulations currently in force in the country of
destination, and the instructions provided in this
manual.
The appliance must be fitted to an internal surface or
wall of the home that is structurally sound enough to
bear its weight (see table).

The appliance must not be installed in areas where the
temperature may drop below 0°C.
The conduits used for carrying ducting must be of the
right size.
The conduits to and from the exterior must be thermally
insulated and not subject to vibration.
The 150/125 mm standard diameter inlet and outlet
pipes (with adapter) must be secured to the
corresponding appliance couplings by means of clips or
other suitable fastening systems.

The appliance
