The target value for the track voltage can be set here. This entry field is greyed out as long as the "Au-
to-Settings" (see above) are activated in the settings. The standard track voltage value is always of
interest however in cases where the settings of the control centre cannot be discerned (B-Bus, CDE), or
the "Auto-Settings" are deactivated.
Activate RailCom (activated as standard)
With this option, you can activate/deactivate the generating of a RailCom cutout. This checkbox is greyed
out as long as the "Auto-Settings" (see above) are activated in the settings. The standard RailCom value
is always of interest however in cases where the settings of the control centre cannot be discerned (B-Bus,
CDE), or the "Auto-Settings" are deactivated.
IMPORTANT: This option is to be deactivated if neighbouring booster sections do not generate a
RailCom cutout (please also refer to Chapter: Connecting the Booster – Track Output)
Forwarding RailCom Channel 2 to the control centre (activated as standard)
The forwarding of the RailCom data (RailCom Channel 2, i.e. speed, POM-Read-Result, QoS, etc.) received
from the booster to the Z21 is activated with this option. The Z21-Boosters 10806 is equipped with a
RailCom receiver and the 10807 is equipped with one RailCom receiver for each of the track outputs and
is able to forward the received data to the Z21 via the CAN-Bus. This makes it possible to not only readout
a vehicle decoder by means of POM read commands at the main track of the control centre, but also in the
booster section (Z21 FW V1.30 and higher recommended).
Activating the DCC brake generator (deactivated as standard)
This option makes it possible to use the track output of the Z21-Boosters as a replacement for item 10779
"brake generator". Please also refer to Chapter: Brake Generator Mode.
Report short circuit to the control centre (activated as standard)
If this option is deactivated, short circuits are not reported to the control centre. The operations can con-
tinue in the booster sections that are not affected or at the main track of the control centre respectively.
The Z21-Boosters concerned nevertheless deactivates in the event of short circuits occurring and automat-
ically attempts to reactivate the track output every 3 seconds.
Reactivate auto-inverting (deactivated as standard)
This option activates the auto-inverting, i.e. an automatic reversing of the polarity of the track signal if
the booster is used as a terminal loop module for example. It is also practical as it ensures that you do not
permanently need to ensure that the track signal is correctly poled.
IMPORTANT: In the event of there being neighbouring booster sections, this option is only to
be activated for one of themas both of them would otherwise be subjected to a reversing of the
polarity at the same time, resulting in a short circuit.
