Safety instructions
This device can be used by children aged 8 and over, as well
as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capa-
bilities or with a lack of experience and knowledge, provided
that they are supervised or have been instructed on how to
use the unit safely and that they understand the resulting
risks. Children must not be allowed to play with the unit.
Cleaning and maintenance must only be carried out by an

The use of upright gas cylinders from which gas is extracted
in the gas phase is mandatory when gas regulators, gas
equipment and gas systems are being operated. Gas cylinders
from which gas is extracted in the liquid phase (e.g. forklifts)
are prohibited, since they would cause damage to the gas
system.
If the gas system is leaking or if there is a smell of gas:
- Extinguish all naked flames
- Do not smoke
- Turn off devices
- Close gas cylinder
- Open windows and doors
- Do not operate any electric switches
- Have the entire system inspected by an expert!
Repairs may only be carried out by an expert.
A new O-ring must be fitted whenever the exhaust duct
has been removed!
Guarantee claims, warranty claims and acceptance of liability
will be ruled out in the event of the following:
- Modifications to the device (including accessories),
- Modifications to the exhaust duct and the cowl,
- Using replacement and accessory parts other than original
Truma parts,
- Failure to follow the installation and operating instructions.
The device's operating permit, and consequently also the ve-
hicle's operating permit in some countries, are also rendered
void.
The 30 mbar operating pressure of the gas supply must corre-
spond to the device's operating pressure (see type plate).
Liquid gas systems must comply with the technical and ad-
ministrative regulations of the respective country of use (in
Europe e.g. EN 1949 for vehicles or EN ISO 10239 for boats).
The national legislation and regulations (in Germany e.g.
DVGW Worksheet G 607 for vehicles or G 608 for boats) must
be observed.
The relevant employer's liability insurance association acci-
dent prevention regulations must be observed for vehicles
used for commercial purposes (BGV D 34).
The gas system must be retested every 2 years by a liquid gas
specialist (DVFG, TÜV, DEKRA). The test must be confirmed
on the respective test certificate (G 607 G 608 or BGG 935).
