2.8 REGENERATION CYCLE
The resin regeneration phase

2.8.a FILLING THE SALT TANK
First of all make sure that there is salt in the specific con-
tainer; otherwise, proceed as follows:
1. Unscrew the cap from the tank and introduce ONLY
COARSE FOOD GRADE SALT.
2. Fully screw the cap back on to make sure it is closed
properly.
The tank must be filled when alarm F4 is displayed on
models equipped with a salt detection system.
2.8.b START MANUAL RESIN REGENERATION
Press the SCROLL
key
Select the REGENERATION
function from the display.
Press the START key.
Confirm the selection by pressing the YES key.
The START key turns
WHITE.
The REGENERATION phase begins.
When the cycle begins, the display on the right will read C3.
If the tank is not drained, the alarm A10 will appear on the
display at the end of the cycle.
F1 appears if the capote is opened during re-
generation
The regeneration cycle is interrupted and then resumes
when the capote is closed.
At the end of the cycle, the machine switches off automati-
cally and OFF appears on the display.

The machine is now ready for use.
Pressing the START key for 5 sec. with the
REGENERATION cycle in progress, the cycle is
immediately interrupted, the dishwasher is
switched off and OFF appears on the display.
Upon switch-on, after an interrupted regeneration,
wait for the tank to be restored until the START key
turns STEADY GREEN or FLASHING GREEN.
Run a complete SANITIZING cycle by performing the
steps in paragraph 2.1.f.
2.8.c START AUTOMATIC RESIN REGENERATION
On reaching the set cycles, the machine automatically
starts the MICRO-REGENERATION cycle.
During regeneration, it is possible to select and start a
new cycle, except for extra cycles.
In this case, MICRO-REGENERATION would be carried
out during the selected cycle. The wash cycle could be
prolonged for the time required to complete regeneration.
The resin is rinsed for a few seconds upon every
switch-on, and a MICRO-REGENERATION cycle is
then performed.
