Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps below, contact the customer
service department.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!
Problem

2. Empty the dirty water tank. For this, push the release
button back and pull the tank out of the main unit by the
handle.
3. The cap is on the back of the tank. Turn it 90° counter-
clockwise to open it.
4. Pour out the dirty water and rinse the tank out thoroughly
with warm water.
6. Take the fi lter out of the holder and rinse it off with warm
water.
7. Take the protective motor fi lter out of the main unit and
rinse it off with warm water.
8. Pour the leftover cleaning solution out of the fresh water
tank and clean the tank thoroughly with warm water.
9. Allow all parts to dry completely before storing them.
Possible cause / solution

Is the plug inserted in the socket correctly?
•
Is the socket defective? Try another plug socket.
•
Check the fuse of the mains connection.
•
The stain is too stubborn or too old. Treat the stain speci-
fi cally with a carpet cleaning product.
5. The exhaust fi lter is located in
the housing of the dirty water
tank. Depress the release but-
ton and pull out the fi lter holder.
